15 Minutes lipstick

i just saw a tube of it on eBay for 17.99USD! and i'm thinking, is this going to turn into a Who's that Lady lipgelee? i mean...this lipstick is still at counters and already people are buying it online for more than you pay at a counter...

those of you who have it, how do you like it? those of you who don't, would you pay 18$ for it?

i got it the other day and it was one of the last at my counter...it's a pretty colour. i'm not sure if i like it on me, but it is very pretty

i don't know that i'd pay 18$ for it..

what is everyone's thoughts on this?

I bought 1 the day it was released - loved it so much that I went back 2 days later and bought a backup. I'm considering going back this week to buy a few more too... I'm one of those poor suckers who would pay $18 for it if I ran out.

i didnt really check it out because im not really a lipstick person. i got ciao manhattan lipglass though and I LOVEEEE IT

but uh, whats the deal with someone buying risk-ly (riskilly? whats the word?) buying lipstick off of ebay for more than buying it at the counter? weird. if i really wanted something i'd do the same though.

i bought it and liked it........if it ran out.....I would definitely make this a must buy and probably pay a little over retail on ebay if I could not find it at mac.com or nordstroms.com or gloss.com, etc.

I wouldn't put too much weight on the fact that sonmeone's paying over retail already for it, people do that on Ebay with non-LE things too. I've seen Prrr lipglass go for $18.

I dunno. I got this thing and it looks crappy on me. Maybe I'm doing this wrong, but it kind of washes me out and it's kind of opaque-y, so it looks weird with my darker lips. Oh, well. It was a B2M

Try it as a base for lipgloss.

I liked it a lot that way.

Yes, definately, this is how i am wearing it today. Also, if you apply it with a lip brush it is less gunky and looks great.

I looked at it in the store and passed on it. It would be way too pale and chalky on me. On the right person, I imagine it looks very flattering, but on a NC25 with a definite olive cast to my skin, I just look like a zombie with it on. I'm sure glosses might help, but I have a rule that any lipstick I own shouldn't need anything on top of it to fix it in the first place. If I have to apply other things to make it work, than it's definitely not compatible with my skin coloring, and no matter how pretty it looks in the tube, I pass. There will always be another color coming up a future collection that will be.

same problem. I'm NC30 and Asian so it's actually lighter than my skintone. I'll try the base idea, though! thanks!

i have no idea why i like 15 minutes so well. i figured anything lighter than my nc42 skintone would simply make me look oxygen deprived, but for some reason, this works on me, for a pale, very nude lip, and its a nice complement to dramatic smoky eyes. plus, i really love the amplified creme finish, and it goes on so smoothly over prep and prime lip and whirl lipliner. still, anything over retail, at this point, does seem a bit excessive, lol.

I really like 15 Minutes and when I run out I maybe would pay above retail price on Ebay if there weren't any left on certain websites.

SMMY, I am also a NC25 and absolutley love this color! The trick, like mentioned proir, is to use it with a lip gloss over your lips ans then it does this great sexy mod look on the lips. It's already sold out at both MAC locations where I live. I LOVE it!

Actually, I have a weird light olive complexion that has a very pale yellow cast to it. Finding foundations that match are a real bitch. I learned a long time ago, pale chalky pinks = Night of the Living Dead look on me. Instead of fighting it, I've embraced my bizarre skin tone and learned to use warm colors that flatter it. Blonde on Blonde works on me and with Factory Made on top, it is so flattering. So rather than buying something that I have to struggle to make work on me, I look for colors that enhance my skin tone and not fight it. I am really looking forward to Untamed for that reason. The lipsticks and lip glosses in that collection will look so much better on me. Think of it this way; more 15 Minutes left for everyone else who can wear it and do it justice.
