182 with regular MSF

I've heard that the Avante Gold MSF look amazing applied with the 182 brush. But, how about with the regular MSF like Shooting Star? Lots of people like to use the 187 for them, but I imagine buffing them into the skin with the 182 would create such a perfect glowy look. Am I right?

I haven't tried using it directly with the msfs, but what I do is lightly apply my msf with my 187, then buff it in with the 182. I think that the 182 is so dense, if you used it directly to apply the msfs that you might overdo it.

I've tried MSFs with the 182 cuz I've been lazy to switch brushes after buffing in foundation. It's pretty nice, you swirl it lightly and then buff it it well. It's dense so in my experience, wherever you place it first is usually where most of it is deposited unless you kinda stipple it around and then buff. ^_^ Looks beautiful though!

I use the 182 w/ SS everyday. I love the way it applies so much, that I'm skipping out on buying the 187.

for a denser application (as in, i'm using the MSF for blush), i use the 187...but for just a nice highlight that's well-blended, i use the 182, and apply it in small circular strokes on the top of my cheeks
