I fell in love with this brush today at MAC, it's from the Of Beauty collection. I think it would be perfect for buffing powders and setting.

Those who have it or know about it, what do you think!?!?

I say no, especially if you already have a 188 or 187, I don't see why you would need it. Wanting it is another thing. And if you already have a kabuki brush, you don't need it for MSF Natural application either. I passed on it because it didn't strike me as something I needed in my brush collection.

if you already have your favorite powder brush and are happy with it, and can't part with the money, you don't need this brush

i picked up a 183 on the weekend. i am in love with this brush. if you are a brush lover or require a variety of tools for every/different look(s)...this is one you need for your collection. it gives a burnished finish with powders on skin. the finish is beautiful. i am thinking about getting another 183, as these are LE.

i love my 182, which gives a polished, classic finish but the look is different. the 188 and 187 give a more light and natural application and are more multi-purpose (i like my 188 and 187 for cream or powder blush, and highlighters. i prefer the other brushes for loose/pressed powders)

you really have to try it and see the difference. though the difference is minor to some...if you have great skin, this can make your skin look that much more amazing.

I am definitely a fan. I already have a 182, and this compliments it nicely.

Resurrecting this thread to ask: Can anyone compare the 180 to the 183 in terms of softness? I'd like to give the 180 a try for liquid foundation but I saw & felt the 183 at my CCO today and feel it would bother my sensitive skin. Is the 180 as scratchy?

I have the 180 and have no issues with it being scratchy. I like the handle on it, too.

i really want a 180 brush as well.. can anyone even find it? other than paying 60 bucks on ebay? and then another 10 for shipping? :- [
i got the 183 because a MUA at a pro store said its the exact same as the 180, just smaller. i love it soooo much for liquid foundation though... haven't tried it with powder.. i think for powder i like using synthetic buffer brushes so much more.
the 180 for me is wayyyy better for putting on foundation than the 188 or 187. i actually find the 187 to streak quite a little.. maybe I'm not using it right, but the 183 in opinion is worth it.

I use it for my loose Everyday Minerals foundation, and it works great.

That's exactly what I use mine for & I love the coverage & finish it provides. It beats all of my kabukis... at least when using EDM.

I love the #183 to apply loose powder.
And I also bought a second one because I love it so much!

The #180 is stiffer than the #183 but not scratchy. I use the #180 to buff out my foundation and the #183 to set the foundation with powder.

I bought mine at my CCO and I love it! I only use it for my foundation and powder. Its so soft and it really buffs onto the skin flawlessly. I wish I had the 180 but can't seem to find it. So I can't compare. I use my 182 to buff out my blushes.
