i ve been reading lots about 187 brush giving FLAWLESS foundation app.

is it really a must have? i have 190 now, its ok. and previously 191, which i've retired to moisturizers...

please let me know if 187 lives up to its fabulous REP....

I thought it was all a hype too until I tried it. I used to only use the 187 for blush. You have to know how to use it right. Its great for stippling foundation and blending. It REALLY does give you a FLAWLESS foundation application. However, having the right foundation is key too. When I use this with MAC SFF it gets cakey later on throughout the day but with Estee Lauder Double Wear Light 15 hours later it looks like I just applied it and still flawless.

I love my 187!! It makes my skin look really good. I just have to swirl it on my face for a few minutes for the perfect application, but otherwise its awesome!! I'm never going back to using my fingers ever again. It's also a really great blush brush.

The 187 is AMAZING!! Its AMAZING!! Just remember that. Seriously though, I used the 190 before I got the 187. Now my 190 just collects dust in the bottom of my train case. Lol.

does the 187 PLAY WELL with mac full coverage foundation & fix fluid spf 15 foundation??

I use it with fix fluid and my Maybelline mineral liquid make up. I don't like applying powders with it though. I'll just keep my kabuki for that. I still think its amazing.

I enjoy using it, but every once in awhile I find myself going back to a traditional foundation brush sometimes. If you already have a 187 I definately recommend giving it a try

I agree! I just got a 187 brush about a week ago because a MA at Nordies told me to get the 188. It was nice, but way too small! It took forever to apply my SFF. So I got the 187 and I am in love with it!

It honestly is a great brush u use so much less product verses using ur fingers and its faster to apply ur foundation than the 190 IMO, and there so much more u can use it for than foundation its a wonderful brush.

It's great for liquid and cream foundations, cream blushes, ccb and mineralize skinfinishes. For my powder, loose or compact, I prefer my 182.

I think the 187 is best when used with liquid or cream foundation. And applying any form of blush but with powder foundation I don't think it would give much coverage.

Great brush, esp. useful for thicker liquids and creams. The 187 sheers out the application nicely.

I have the 187 and it's my brush of choice for liquid, cream and cream to powder foundation. I have two 187s and the 188 for cream blush and don't regret it for a second.

I tried it once with my studio fix powder but it didnt do too much.

I pretty much only use this for msf's. it makes u look polished and like...it applies the msf well. And its a super soft brush. Plus its cute...

Lol...just get one. i think every specktrette has to own a 187..its like an unwritten rule?

i use this with my liquid mineralize skinfinish foundation and it works GREAT. normally, any kind of foundation looks very dry and flakey on my skin, but this brush blends it right into my face. i start with dotting the brush (with the foundation on it) on my cheeks and swirl in circular motions to blend it in.

i'm actually thinking of buying another 187, but they're so expensive!
