#187 brush

I've heard so many raves about it and how it can be used to apply liquid foundation, but how does it manage it looks quite sparse and can't blend the thick liquid foundation in compared to the denser and firmer-looking #190.

which of these two do you think does a better job at LF?

I attended a techniques seminar by MAC and the MA showed us how to use 187 with liquid foundation. First, you dip the ends of the brush in foundation, then do stippling strokes (like dotting the ends of the brush all over the face), then buff lightly using round strokes with same brush all over face.

^^ that is exactly what i do too. normally the first layer just gives light coverage. if you want fuller coverage, just apply more layers. it gives a more natural look than the 190 while still providing full coverage.

thanks! so 187 is better recommended than 190 then? many people described it as giving an air-brush look..it sounds good

Yes it can definitely be used to apply blush. It buffs blush nicely into your skin for more of a glow. But if you want more colour I suggest the 129. I always use my 187 to buff and apply cheek highlighter. This brush is so amazing I have 2!
