2 questions - compact foundations/cream blusher

Ok, I have a couple of questions, hopefully you lovelies can help

Sorry its a bit of a long ramble.

1) Foundation - I like my foundation, but, I find it doesn't stay very well, especially if I go to a club or somewhere like that. I think its partly because its warm, and partly cos I have oily skin in places (mainly my forehead.) So, I want to get a new foundation, but the kind thats a compact, so I can take it with me when I go out, or even go away for the weekend.

If anyone has suggestions for making foundation stay, thats good too...but I want to get a compact-y type foundation anyways. I've heard that M.A.C foundations make people break out though, so I'm not too sure about them. Does anyone actually like them?

Other than that, I'm open to suggestion. I'm not sure what shade I'd be in M.A.C colours, but I'm very pale, with *very slight* yellow undertones, so a brand with lots of colour choice is preferable! If anyone can tell me some to check out, I'd be very grateful. I don't mind what kind of coverage as well...I'm willing to look at out all kinds

2) Cream blusher; I haven't tried a cream blusher before, but I do like the look of them. can anyone recommend a cheaper drugstore brand cream blusher thats decent (I'm in the UK, though

)

I would buy a MAC one, since the colours are pretty, but since I'm not sure if I like them I don't want to spend a lot of money at first.

Also, if you have pictures of you wearing said cream blusher, that you don't mind posting, I'd like to see. I searched through the FOTD's but mostly I can only find ones using M.A.C, but I'd like to see some drugstore ones

Thanks for taking time to read this! I don't ask much do I!

for the foundation -- if you want a compact, try studio fix (the original, not the fluid). it comes with a sponge that you can use for quick application and touch ups on the go. or you can apply it with a foundation brush when you're at home and want fuller coverage. it has talc, which will help it stay longer then pure liquid formulas on oilier skin. also, (in my experience, at least) it's less likely to cause break outs then the studio fix fluid bc it's lighter. with yellow undertones, you'd be an NC shade. i'd try sampling some shades to find your perfect match at a counter.

as for the creme blush, i personally have problems with them bc i have oily skin. i find that they make me greasier and don't stay as well as the powders. but i've only tried the MAC ones and ones by tarte. maybe you'll have better luck with a drugstore brand that someone recommends.

hope that help!
