Im sure the quality is the same, the bristles are the same as the regular size its just the handle is short with is easier for a novice like me

I shot more about them, but I don't like to post them. something makes me feel dejected...

even though i have all those brushes in full-size versions, i feel compelled to get the set, so i can travel with them. it seems much more convenient, and less risky, than always travelling with my full-size brush roll. plus, they're really cute, lol.

the brushes ARE NOT the same quality. the SE are machine made while the full size is hand made and the bristles are ALL synthetic while the full size vary but for the most part are real animal hair.

I agree that they are machine made, but the bristles are not all synthetic. The blush brush is natural hair, the foundation of course is synthetic, so is the full size brush. I emailed MAC. They said that the travel size brushes are made of the same exact material as the full size but they are machine made. The only difference besides the size. I even did the online chat and was told the same thing.

This is in regards to the set as far as last year and current. I am not talking about the sets prior to. I believe they were made really bad from what I heard.

I would get this set but I have all of the travel size and full size brushes in the kit minus the 187. Soooo, I think I will buy the full size 187
