21st Birthday MU? (PiCS iNSiDE!) help!

So, the night is almost here! The BIG 21 will arrive at 12 midnight on Saturday night... and I am going out with a bang!

I have my outfit all set out, jewelry, shoes, and everything set to go... but now I don't know what to do with my makeup!

My dress is this style:

But in this color. It's a light ivory chiffon strapless bubble dress:

I'm also wearing a long gold chain necklace, a gold long necklace with these gold leaves on it, and a small gold cross (I know it sounds like a lot, but it's very pretty all put together!) They look similar to these [not the actual items I bought] :

I got my shoes this morning... HOT! Sexy gold glitter 4.5" pumps with a pointy toe. I love them! Here's a look:

So since my outfit it simple.. in terms of the gold/ivory combo.. I'm not sure how to do my face!

Simple, neutrals and shimmer? Or go a little more dark and sultry since the outfit is more bland and monotone?

I MUST look FIERCE! It's MY 21ST Birthday afterall....

I think you have many options ...I personally would do a bold lip and soft shimmery eye to pop out with the neutrals you are wearing ..or go the other way and do smokey eye soft lip...... or go very ethereal looking all over lol ..I dunno ..but i wanna see a red or hot pink lip with some soft gold shimmery eyes =P

I think you should do a smokey look. mreichert just did a gold/black look recently that I think would totally look hot with this outfit!

any suggestions for lip color? i don't know if I want a bold red lip... heaven forbid i smudge it or it gets on the dress... i would be VERY upset!! maybe a bright pink? or nude? i dont know eep!

If you do the smokey look, then I would do a nude lip, but if you like bright eyes & bright lips then go for it! It's your 21st after all

You are going to look so cute! I love the dress and the jewelry and shoes. How are you going to wear your hair? Hmmmm...I am obsessed with fuschia lately so I am biased. I would suggest a color like Style Minx on the lips and a nude, gold color on the eyes. I did this by accident the other day and really liked it.

thanks! that's ANOTHER thing... how do I do my hair?! right now, it's about an inch or so under my chin-length. so it's fairly short. i can get it back in a small pony tail, but thats it. what should i do with hair ladies?!?!

since you're 21 you've definitely gotta look fierce but if you're planning on drinking you're going to want a no fuss look especially if you do dinner then a bar/club. I say keep the lips neutral and play up your eyes maybe like a gold, olive combo. Add some vanilla pigment into your moisturizer and shimmer up your legs, collar bone, shoulders etc so that you glow. Oh and for your hair...

I LOVE the color and cut of her hair - it's short and sassy, like mine! Mine's a little longer than hers at the moment... but the other two I would need really long hair for :-\ I definitely should keep it straight though, rather than curl or wave it. and I DEF want a "no fuss, no muss" look

probablly down and straight with a really dramatic bang would look cute. i hope it turns out ok!

and for the makeup... i agree with everyone, that a more smokey, goldish/shimmer look would look great. i like the pigment in my moisturizer idea. i am DEFINITELY going to need a little bit of a glow over my uv rayed-tan i have going on right now!

I'm so excited. If anyone has any more pictures or suggestions, keep em coming! I need to be the hottest b*&%h in the club! haha! xxx

as for makeup, what i would do is wear a really dark smokey eye and neutral lips... OR a dark red lip with neutral eyes but long longggg lashes

I would wear a fairly neutral eye look using some light gold colours to compliment your accessories, but keep it fairly neutral, and some long false lashes but not too thick ones. More length than thickness. Maybe a nice winged liner in black or gold.

Then I'd go for a bold, beautifully lined and glossy bright berry pink lip look! Not baby pink but like deep berry pink-red.

I am going to get my hair cut at 6.. thinking of a thick bang across my FIVEhead (yes, i take after Miss Tyra, herself!) and then keeping it longer in front, because I want to grow it out. And have the stylist tease it at the crown. Speaking of crowns, I'm wearing the cutest crown with white feathers that has a BLINKING 21 on it! Gotta love being tacky when you're legal

As for makeup, I'm VERY tan - so I'm an NW40 right now... so with that much color, I don't want to go CRAZY with makeup, I want to show off my color! I'm thinking a light eye, maybe a LITTLE darker black/brown in the corners... and keeping a light pink lip. I cannot WAIT for tonight!
