Ok, no need to sell them to me as i've already decided to get them, but convince me i NEED them (and ease my guilty conscience lol)

Am currently using 213 for my lid colour, is the 239 any better/different?
As regards the 252 i've read some good reviews on MUA about this, particularly as a concealer brush, so thats a definate buy.... if my poor card doesn't explode at the till lol

*not literally!

the 239 (along with the 187) is probably the best brush MAC makes in my opinion. compared to the 213, it is much softer. It picks up shadow much more densley and evenly, and gives a stronger color payoff on the lid for some reason. I use this brush every day, Im thinking about getting another.

As for the 252... mehhh I bought it for doing large eye areas (like if im dong a wash), I think it would be way too big for concealer, at least for my needs. I also find it a bit stiff and scratchy. Anyways, its probably the least used brush in my collection.

Thanks for that, will definately try the 239 so.... have a MUFE brush similar to the 252 so might give that a try for concealer!

I love the 239 and am so glad I purchased it. The MA's never really suggested it. They were always pushing the 224 at me. I saw the 239 after one of them used it on me and decided to get it. It is very soft and picks up and deposits a lot of color. I love it.

I love both of these brushes and use them constantly! The 239 is one of their best brushes for putting alot of color in a smaller area, and the 252 is a great brush to use if you're doing a wash. For a concealer brush I personally prefer the 242, which is smaller and enables you to be more precise in your application. Either way all of these are good brushes so you can't really go wrong

My face is way too tiny to try this; I'm not sure how big/small the person is who started the thread, but #242 I use for applying paints and still find it a tad too big, so #252 is out of the question for me personally.

But then again, I have the #194 (concealor one? not sure if I got the no. correct) and think it's great for precise application.

I think you might have all sold the #239 to me!
