2x Questions ladies, Clear Gloss and Dita Von Teese

Hi girls

Just some quick questions.
Does anyone know what shade foundation Dita von Teese wears? Is C1 the lightest?

And has anyone got/used Clear Gloss? I am looking for a medium to mix with eyeshadows that makes it appear really glossy and wetlook, kind of like when you put Vaseline onto your lids. I've tried mixing Vaselibne with shadows but it doesn't work.

Thank you!

Love Frost

the gloss is what you want. however, it creases like a bitch! i wouldn't mix it with your shadows, just apply it over them.

Dita wears either N1 Face and Body Foundation, or White Face and Body Foundation (possibly the two mixed together), with Invisible Set Powder. She also uses Silver Dusk powder.

White Face and Body and Invisible Set Powder are both PRO Products, they make a beautiful, milky, translucent skintone.

This comes from a very reliable source at the MAC Pro location on North Robertson in Hollywood, where Dita shops.

As for clear gloss, as mentioned above the best way to apply either Pro Gloss, (clear gloss), or even vaseline, would be to apply on top of the eyeshadows once they are on your eye. It makes an incredible sexy, wet looking eye makeup but really won't last very long, unfortunately. I've found using shadesticks as a base for shadows, then putting gloss on top of that, seems to hold up better than most other base products (paints, etc). Although it will still inevitably crease.

Yes, it's best to apply gloss on top of shadows. It also helps to "dab" the gloss on with a fingertip vs. smearing it across the eyelid (it shifts the shadow less). Use as little as possible. I also try to put no gloss right by my lashline so it reduces the chance that my mascara/eyeliner will dissolve in the gloss and end up everywhere...

If a makeup company could ever develop a eye gloss that would dry "shiny" but not stay moist - I bet they could make a buck or two!
