A good brush?

I want to buy a new brush, but I'd like to ask you if you could recommend me your favorite one.

I need a ''versatile'' one...

What should I buy?

I'll be the first of hundreds to come in here and say the 187 brush.

eye or face brush?

face brush: I'm the second to say 187. great for MSF, blushes and foundation

eye brush: hmm that's a bit harder but I would say 217 (wash, lid, browbone and blending)

Ah, well, the ones I use most often for eyes are:

-102
-208
-212
-213
-222
-228

I use others, but these get the most mileage out of them.

edit, forgot when posting this time that you wanted a VERSATILE one.
hmm.

212, 213, and 228 are probably the most versatile of what I posted.

for eye.... i would say 217

it's my all time fave eye brush.... it's great for blending, u can use it for the lid, u can use it with paints and ccbs... its amazing!!!!

My personal most fav's...

EYE - 252, 239

FACE - 187, 150 or you could get the 129

I love the 239... this was my first MAC brush, and I still favor it! It can do a sheer wash of color or pack a lot of color on your lid.

I would say 272. The 239 is like a 272, but it isn't angled like a 272.
