a success!

Okay, I'm not sure if this is really posted in the right area, but it's such good news that I have to share!

My boyfriend has always declared his distaste for anything makeup. Any time I ask his opinion about a new colour, he hates them all. He tells me I look best with nothing on

. However, he usually plays along, telling me that saying "you look lovely" is easier than saying he hates it.

But yesterday, I showed him my two new blue e/s on, and he did the usual "it looks nice" routine initially. But then he realised that he honestly thought it looked good.

I subsequently declared that I was going to wear Tilt, Shimmermoss and Cornflower for the rest of my life.

Who'd have thought it? I don't even think blues look that wonderful on me, I'm a pale brunette with green eyes who loves her purples and greens.

So the boy is back in the good books

and I have a little story to share with you guys! (And if my camera worked, I'd share a fotd too).

Oh ya, my hunnie loves it when I do intense dramatic color. I think it's something hardwired in them.

yay! someday ill get past my bf with this... he thinks i dont need foundation or blush...because i have "good skin"... then he doesnt want me wearing lipstick because "he gets sticky when he kisses me"... so according to him i should only wear eye make up... in which case he likes me best in dramatic smokey black looks... so he doesn't understand why I don't just carry around some black eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner... and have that be it............ ill break him down!
