Abduction Attempt

HOLY Crap.

I came out of school today at about 15 til 1. 12:45 went to my car near the University place about 5 til 1 (12:55) and saw this car speeding away.

Well I thought it was just some dumbass student who likes to speed because they are a dumbass.

Didn't think anything of it.

Come home check my e-mail.

Police sent out an alert that there was an abduction attempt at University Place ( a dorm) right before 1 PM and the driver was in a black car that speed off.

This is what happened (According to the report sent out)
This guy drives up close to a girl tries to get her to get in his car, she says no he says come on grabs her wrist she turns around punches him and then he sped off.

According to the e-mail.

Great. That's just GREAT. Right in the middle of the day where people are going to and from class. LOVELY.

I'm just SO GLAD she got away safely. I truely am. It could've been horrible if she didn't have her wits about her!

Looks like I'll be bringing my mace/pocket knife to school and YES I DO KNOW HOW TO USE A KNIFE (you grow up with boys you learn all sorts of cool crap! LOL YAY FOR THE BOYS!)

This does not help my nerves one bit

When i was thriteen i went to the downtown mall [ its an outdoor mall] theirs alot of homeless around there and stuff but usually no biggie so i was just walking through the mall with one of my friends and theirs like these little coves where the store employees have the doors that they come through and they lead out to the busy streets their preety dark
so i was walking by one and these 2 HUGE guys grab me and i was just in shock but i started fighting and the guy let go of me...

when i told my parents they got all freaked out and my dad was like ill kill the guy if i ever find him hahaha and my mom was like your never going downtown ever again

but like 1 year later i was walking around downtown again hahaha and going to catch the subway and they have police on bikes around there

their was this homeless guy obviously drunk i pass him and the cop on the bike passes him and he pulls out a knife on the cop the cop kicks the guy in the face and arrests him

eeek i use to love downtown but you can get in alot of trouble when your by yourself seriously

Oh God, how creepy is that? Good for you for getting some protection. What are your laws like in terms of carrying a knife and mace?

From what I've read you can have a pocket knife and mace allowed in GA.

i have mace and use to have a super small pocket knife key chain thing
[lost it] hahah

but it really couldnt have done much harm i mostly just had it to cut strings off my clothes and open packages
lol

But my mace the problem with that is ok i have it in my purse but if a person grabs me then what are the chances that im actually going to be able to reach it get it out of my purse twist the safty and pull the trigger

also you could accidently shoot yourself with it if the wind is blowing your way and potentialy just make the situation worse?

but i still keep mine anyways also mine has UV dye so if they happen to find the purp then they just scan their face with a blue light and their face will turn purple and the dye can stay for like 3 weeks.

Oh cool. They're more strict here. If you get caught with mace you have to say that it is for dogs at that moment, and a knife can't be longer than your hand (width).
