Almost naked

It's so hot here!!!!!! 38 degrees Celsius or 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I feel like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz as though I am melting.

I couldn't really be bothered with much makeup today but had to put some on so I didn't scare people when I went down the shops. I also couldn't really be bothered with my hair (which I normally straighten) and when I had finished with my makeup I didn't look as horrid as I thought I might. I think I sometimes rely on my makeup and hair too much as a mask to hide behind...

By the way I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

With our little energetic puppies we couldn't have a Christmas tree up this year as they would only have fun pulling it apart so this year I decided on a small little tea light tree which I decorated to make it look Christmassy. It wasn't quite the same but it didn't look too bad I think
