Am I a NC40?

I went to Mac the other day and asked the girl to pick out a foundation, blot powder and a msf for me.
She picked a Select Tint in NC40, blot powder in Dark, and a msf in Medium Dark.

She put the stuff on. And as always, everything looks good in the store-right?
I had some doubts about the colors, because my face looked darker than my neck.
She told me she wouldn´t recommend lighter colors, because it might make me look greyish and dullish, and that I naturally had a darker face. She recommended me to put some msf on my neck instead.

Do you guys think she picked the best colors for me?
I don´t wear anything on the pictures, because I didn´t want to open the stuff. If you guys think the colors are all wrong for me I will return them...although I can´t see that happening in the nearest future.
MAC is so far away...

Please let me know what you think!

I personally use an NC42 in Studio Fix and am half Korean/Mexican...a bit similar to you in color. Can't really say what the NC40 in Select Tint looks like. However, in Studio Fix the NC35 and NC40 made my skin look very ashy...maybe if you go back you should have the MA do a test of the colors side by side to see which one blends into your skin best?

i dont know about select tint b/c i use studio fix fluid. i use nc40 in studio fix fluid even though my face is actually lighter than nc40. i do this b/c i had them match it up with my neck so my neck and face are the same color. your face and neck look about the same color as my face, and when they matched it up to my natural face color, i was an nc37. you even look maybe just a LITTLE lighter so maybe nc35. for the blot powder, i think you should go with medium dark, and for the msf, medium plus. i'm darker than you and medium dark makes me look orangey when i wear it over foundation.
