Please be gentle! I'm actually only posting this so you all can tell me what I'm doing wrong!! I don't have nice brushes yet, so contouring and blending are really hard for me. Please let me know what you think I should do with the shape and if you like the colour of my eyeshadow too! It's Swimming, btw.

You can prevent creasing by applying foundation then setting with powder.

Is it just one colour? It would look good if you blended a lighter colour into the inner crease, a darker colour into the outer crease or both. Highlight is also needed. If you did any of that, then I apologize. I know my camera doesn't always show in great detail.

For not having any brushes you did a helluva job!

Swimming looks GREAT on you with your eye color and skin coloring. Some great budget brushes are painting art store brushes, a lot of people here use them.

Your on the right track, I can't wait to see what you can do once you equip yourself with some brushes.

hehe you did good i think! Maybe you can try curling your lashes as well to make them*pop* even more! But I agree, UD primer potion is the shit I love it and it makes ur e/s stay on like no other! Also, like jaince said, art stores have great brushes to use for cheap and work really well!

I'm getting juxt in the mail soon. I don't have a lot yet to continue to blend. What highlight shade should I use? I had a bit of Vex on, but I broke my pot so I don't have a lot left.

Ummm. What else? Ah the creasing thing. I'm an oily girl so foundation and powder was done, but it didn't hold. I can't wait to try PP. But thanks for the idea.

I might check out Michaels tomorrow, but I also want to order from A-squirrel since it seems to be about $5USD per brush for the 9 brush set.

So I did ok?

eta: And next time I get to the MAC counter I'm going to buy some concealer for those under-eye circles!

I think phloof! is a nice highlight color to use. Or just anything that is white,off white or just a lighter color than your e/s that you are using so it can highlight it.

omg I am an oily girl as well and the PP works so amazingly! You will love it!

And don't feel dumb! Ask as many questions as you want..you'll learn a lot more that way and i think you're doing a great job so far! Can't wait to see some more of fotds!

I have Naked Lunch coming. I will add Phloof to my wishlist. I can't afford to buy anything else at this time. Do you think NL will work? I don't mind Vex, but I find it's really easy to put on too much, especially with the brushes I have.

Phloof is my very favourite highlight colour. I think swimming is a great colour on you.
I am very oily too, but find the UDPP is perfection in a bottle. I actually have to remover my e/s these days, instead of it sliding down my face.
