An Oil Control/Pore Minimizing alternative to Sisley Tropical Resins Complex?

Hello, there!

I've been reading the Spektra forum for some time now, but this is my first thread.

A few months ago I got a sample of Sisley Tropical Resins Comples and just tried it yesterday. WOW! My pores are still much tighter and the shine is barely there. This is the best stuff I've tried for my super oily skin so far!

The problem is: Sisley is way too expensive! It costs 100-110 USD for 50ml. Plus, I live in Brazil and we have really heavy importing taxes for cosmetics, which makes the products 3 or 4 times more expensive. (for example: a MAC e/s costs 47,25USD here!)

If you can afford it, it's worthy. Try a sample and tell me later

Can anyone, please, recommend a GREAT cheaper oil control/pore minimizing alternative to this dreamy Sisley complex?

TIA!

Oh, girls... No recs at all?

I can't believe there is no one in Specktra World who uses a GOOD oil control lotion and/or pore minimizer that costs less than US$110.00

Please, please...

I use Estee Lauder's Idealist pore minimizing skin refinisher. Works pretty good. It's $73 for 1.7 oz. Haven't tried anything else to compare it to though!

I do use powders, blotting papers and a lot of things my dermatologist prescripts.

Point is: I'm super oily (even my hair, ew!) and I live in this very tropical city.

I've been checking reviews for all sorts of oil control and/or pore minimizing stuff but the opinions diverge a lot. Some people move MAC's oil control lotion, but others seem to hate it. And it goes on for all the others...

This Sisley sample is lasting more than I expected and I'm extremely tempted to just buy it, at this point. My pores are tiny and I finally got to really see what my Dior foundation can do for me!

Though, a cheaper product (or combo) wouldn't hurt my pocket!

Cosmedicine Medi-Matte. A friend of mine with super oily skin swears by this.. It's about half the price of the stuff you were talking about, although it's still pricy! Check out makeupalley.com and read and compare reviews if you still want to find something cheaper.. Perhaps Clinique? They're on the lower end of the department store scale but still have high quality products

I've checked Medi-Matte before, but I confess I was a little afraid because I've never heard of it before (I'm brazilian, Cosmedicine is not sold here). Here I go again!

The Clinique line is still an option, but it's only good camouflage to the pores, instead of a real change. I very inclined to buy it, though. It's cheap and can be used as a primer.

Thanks for the tips!
