But...I thought it was interesting wen I went to the counter today and asked the MUA's about the MSF's that are coming out...they had no idea and looked at me like I might have a third eye floating on my face somewhere....haha...

Is Nordstroms not getting these in???

Or maybe they just havent got the info yet?

No, we just know a lot more about the coming colletions than the MAs at the dept. stores. I just stopped being suprised about their lack of knowledge. I love it when they act like I don't know what I'm talking about and I'm wrong, but then they go into that little update book and see that there is in fact a red toned fluidline comming out with the patternmaker collection event if it isn't on the poster, for example. Then they have to eat a little crow and ask if I want to preorder it from them, but I just say no, I'll get it from my favorite store, thankyouverymuch. Ha!

I think this is one of the many reasons to love Specktra, we find out about ALLLL, and its amazing...it just is hardly any fun to get excited about something, go in and ask, and have then look like 'uh...huh?'

me too! I am a regular at the freestanding MAC in TowsonTown Center-I promise the girls(2 and 3) a trip to Tiny Town if they are good in MAC-LOL! -they are always good- who am I kidding!?!
And I LOVE Tonya and Katrina in Nordies for stuff that I can't use the procard on like-pattermaker and exclusives like that

Do you go to Towson University? i am a TSU Alumnus,myself-it was still "State" then, i am old

Anyhow i am going to swing by ttc sometime very soon to get my patternamker stuff, I can pm you if you like before I go

those people are idiots. except for Matt and Vivian, the best MAC area around here is the one new store in Columbia. Annapolis wishes they were as good as Columbia!

I used to go to the Annapolis Nordstroms MAC counter all the time, but now that I live in Baltimore I pretty much only go to the Towson Town Center Freestanding store. The girls there are really nice and now that I've gone there for a while and they sort of know me I can actually get waited on!

I'm definitely going to check out the new Columbia mall one the next time I go to Sephora-- although it's dangerous for me that they have both stores in one mall now!

Yep, I lived in towson when I went to school there and it was like a 15 minute walk, 5 minutes on ym old ass bike and I'd go there ALLL the time. They started remembering my face

I might head up there today actually.

i did but only briefly, it was a freakin' madhouse(freestanding)I just picked up turquatic es quickly since that was the only thing i could get with my discount

. i was with mil and sil getting bridesmaids stuff done and was planning on sneaking to nordies to pick up my preorder while i was kidless,wouldn't you know they all wanted to go too to get stuff

anyhow, it ended up being fun,i got my patternmaker stuff and all was well.
we really need to have a *Specktrette lunch MAC attack* one day

I was in the Nordies in Short Hills yesterday to pick up my Patternmaker haul (which I am VERY disappointed with, might I add) and the MA was trying to explain this mineral makeup that is coming out this week. I ended up cutting him off and giving him the explanation. I have to stop doing this to people, making people who sell products sell completely clueless.
