My sister, Yvonne and I conspired to order some MAC online today...She used some of my stuff on the cruise we went on, and not only did it look beautiful on her, but now SHE wants some MAC (she never used MAC before)...so the addiction is spreading...she asked me to choose some stuff online for her!
Anyway, I tried ordering online, but when I tried to put the card info. in, it kept bringing me back to the password screen; this happened endless times. Finally, I gave up w/ the online order, and just decided to do an order by phone.
The phone operator seemd very....um....to put it nicely...dull. Now, I know sometimes it's neccesary to repeat info...but I KID YOU NOT...I had to repeat my zip code 7 times! She kept getting it wrong. Then, my name....I spelled it out 5 times...she kept saying "okay, it's E-e-v-e-t-e"...Um...NO! After about the 4th time repeating diff. things, I asked her if there was something wrong w/ her phone..She didn't respond and asked me to spell my last name....AGAIN! Again I spelled it..."B-O-U-"...."That's E-O-U, Ma'm?". Me again: "Is there something wrong with your phone?" Her: "NO MA'M (nasty tone)..now just spell your last name for me!!!". I said "I already HAVE spelled it four times!" ARRRG.
Then, I gave her my order. She didn't know ANY of the products. I understand maybe if she was new...but aren't they supposed to have SOME training..She kept saying "PlushGRASS"!
...Then I told her I wanted All That Glitters eye shadow. She asked me "What kind of glitters?"....:whattha:
Then, I asked for Mythology e/s. She kept on saying "Frost Mythology".....I tried telling her just plain "Mythology". IDK. Then, "B-Rich" e/s turned into "The Itch".
Finally, I went "B-AS- IN-BOY...R-I-C-H--AS IN WEALTHY"
Then we get to the billing info. You don't even want to hear THIS! I had to confirm everything three times because she had it all wrong.
All in all, the whole order (which AT MOST should've taken ten minutes), took FORTY FIVE MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like I said...I'm a patient woman. I realize she's only human, and maybe she was new (I hope so)...but c'MON! Well...I didn't get mad or impatient with her on the phone...because maybe she had a hard day, or whatever....But I tell ya..it took all I had.....
Well...anyway.....Sorry for the rant...but I was so damn frustrated. Here's what I got....

Bronze Cream Color Base (Had to denote difference, and make sure she knew I wasn't buying two Bronze e/s's...that was a BIG complication)
