my husband works 9-5, mon-fri...I go into MAC on fridays because that's my day off and I can get home and have my makeup put away before he gets back...he knows I spend alot of money, but has never made a big deal about it...he doesn't know that I spend $500/month on makeup though either

same here... cept im a mail order junkie... he never sees me get the packages... he knows that I buy it... he just dosnt know that I spend AS MUCH as I do...

:: im a student, so my dad still pays my bills, if he only knew. he's seen my collection but he doesnt know the value of it. though my mom knows but she has her own mac collection and loves it as much as i do. my mom always says, this is why you dont have a car and i agree and keep buying more mac.

If my hubby knew just how much money I have spent on makeup he'd be asking for more video games!
While we agreed we could both have addictions, mine doesn't keep me from spending time with him. So....I am bad and I don't come straight out with how much I spend.
Totally his fault because he wants me to do all bill paying and keeping the money balanced.

Hehehehe!!!! But really, when you think about what it costs for a case of beer....that's almost two eyeshadows! And football tickets...those arn't cheap either! Or the fancy new truck that sits in our driveway (literally-it goes 5km round trip to my man's fire station) AND hardly makes it past the gas station. I do love it though. Boys and their toys, I just keep telling myself it all works out in the end!

When I was first getting into MAC my boyfriend would be really sweet and actually buy things for me - I guess he thought that once I got to a certain point I would stop - now he just amusedly rolls his eyes about it. But then again, I'm the same way with the amount of money he spends modding his car...

my boyfriend told me the other day, "I'll never buy you makeup as a gift."
I was kind of annoyed, but he explained that he meant that he wouldn't get me makeup for Christmas, anniversaries, things like that, but he's willing to buy it for me other times.
He still prefers to buy me things other than makeup, but at least he doesn't mind it too much. I usually buy it myself before he gets a chance to anyway.

My hubby thinks all of mine came off of ebay while he was a trucker... you know all those $5 shadows that are really $13 - quite a bargain, LOL!! If he ONLY knew that I still buy but I've cut back, actually I've had to cut back on being on specktra to keep me away from mac a bit more. My hubby would flip- but his cigarettes cost $30 for two cartons.
