ok... today is my due date and just like with my first son, the day has come and gone
. i was overdue by 8 days last time and i'm really hoping that this baby decides to not wait that long. that would only enhance the already crazy hormones, lol.
good news is i jumped from being dilated a fingertip last week to 3cm today! i knew something was going on down there. i'm hoping i get some consistent pain going on or my water breaks tomorrow so hubby and i can finally make our way to the hospital. YAY!
anyhow, not-so-good news is that i've been at my wit's end in irritability. seriously?? everything is getting to me and i know behind it all that people mean well in what they do/say. not to mention i know it's the final days syndrome that's making me mentally unstable as well. through it all, i bite my tongue and try to channel positive affirmations through my mind, but lately, its been finding its way back to flicking a nerve instead of settling.
amongst the normalities of being preggo, i just hope all comes out safe and healthy. i'm very excited to see how my son will adapt to his new role as a 'big brother' and just as excited to see how hubby and i will handle our new role as parents of 2.
oh boy, oh boy.
