I've been using their pore products for a month now and they're fab!!

I was looking at their make-up and it looked really nice..clean simple colours. Any recommendations, products you like from them (make-up) and any personal recs for myself would be appreciated (pic on profile).

Much Luv

Overall, I'm not a massive Clinique fan but I do really like their lipglosses and nail polishes. Beautiful range of colours. The texture of the lipglosses fab - light and non-sticky. I find them quite long lasting too. Lipgloss colours that I particularly like are Whisper and Sunset.

You're really beautiful. You could wear the stronger reds etc

Try their version of the shimmerbrick! It's fantastic! I have a few shadows from them and they're pretty good (they're all blue-green colors and they're really vibrant). I love their smoldering plum blush. It looks really good on my NC45 skintone. To be honest I think they have pretty good products. They just aren't as attention-grabbing as MAC stuff. HTH

I am interested in using some Clinique. I received a gift card and I want to spend it on lipglosses/lipsticks. Can anyone give me some recommendations for olive tone skin? I am looking for neutral/nude colours with maybe just a hint of colour.

Thanks

I've been using Clinique for over 25 years. I would suggest you look at their lipsticks, lipgloss, blushes, eyeliners and skin care. I love their lipsticks more so than MACS. I agree with the Smoldering Plum Blush suggestion. Also check out Mysterious Mocha. Just go on over to a Clinique counter and you would be surprised that they have some beautiful makeup. Anyhow, Clinique, MAC, Estee Lauder, Stila, and Bobbi Brown are all owned by the same company. So "it's all good."

in terms of clinique makeup, i haven't tried much - just their disco pink eyeshadow lol - which is really nice, btw! i LOOOVE their clarifying lotion (the new acne solutions one) and their dramatically different moisturizing gel. i also use their other acne products (spot treatment cream and the gel) and their city block sheer SPF 15.

i really want to try their superbalance foundation, it sounds like it would be really good for my type of skin. my boyfriend's sister uses that (and everything else from clinique!) and SWEARS by their makeup.

all right so i've been using clinique's new acne solutions 3-step treatment (only mine is a 2-step lol, i don't use their "repairing lotion" b/c it contains benzoyl peroxide and that dries me out) for about 2-3 weeks now and there has been a HUGE difference in my skin! i have little to no blemishes on my face and my face used to be baaaaaad. of course when i started using this my face wasn't nearly as bad as it used to be, but it cleared up even more. i highly recommend it!

clinique sells the 3-step in a little 30-day trial pack for like $32.00USD, otherwise the foaming cleanser is $17.50USD and the clariying lotion is i believe $13USD, so it's a little pricey IMO but sooooo worth it! it doesn't dry my face out either and actually after using the foaming cleanser i kind of get a cool "tingle" to my face, makes it feel like it's clean!

I absolutely ADORE Clinique's Buttershine lipsticks! They're very smooth & glossy and go on SOOO evenly and gloriously (is that a word?)! Because they're part glossy, they don't have extreme lasting power. I keep one in my purse because it's easy to reapply a Buttershine without a mirror (though I do use the light shades - my favorite is Adore U). Anyway, the texture and feel of these is marvelous, especially if you like gloss but want something just a *little* more substantial.

I've been wanting to try this acne-care kit too, it just unveiled in Vancouver. What are you using for moisturizer instead of the BP lotion?

I love Clinique. I have been using the new 3 Step Acne Solutions kit as well as the Night Treatment Gel and Spot Treatment Gel. I was already using the 3 step program for oily skin. My skin had broken out really badly in the past few weeks and it's so much better. I have spent so much money on this stuff, it should work. Neverthless, I think my skin has benefited from the Turnaround Concentrate.

- i love this stuff! unfortunately it doesn't have any SPF in it so i have to use a sunscreen with it (i use clinique's city block sheer SPF 30) but then again, neither does the BP lotion lol

Their liquid liner is my HG. It's the only thing that works on my Asian Eyes that doesn't chip, smudge, or fade. I've tried their eyeshadows, and think they're crap...

The eye makeup remover is good too!

Their lipsticks are really good and smooth and they have beautiful colours. Their skincare products are great as well but very expensive...
