Hey everyone I was on a Canadian site and a girl is selling some MAC lipglosses and i was just wondering if anyone had heard of any of these colours, knows what collection they are part of, or even knows when they came out? Here they are:

Babied
Love-In
Jumbled
Sheena

I checked one of Specktra's links for a swatches gallery and all that came up was babied. If anyone could please tell me more about these glosses and if possible, please post a pic or a swatch?! Thanks!!!

I have Love-In and love it. I used to use it everyday. Babied is beautiful and I want to buy it but it's not quite right for me.

I've seen a fair few selling on eBay but no one seems to talk about them much. I know some colours are discontinued, but some of them do still exist, don't they? Have seen them at a dept store MAC counter (few months ago).

Babied use to be one of faves! I'd go through about 3 each year and then started experimenting with other colors. I love Varneesh, Rainbeau and Acrylicka.

These are big sellers at the counter I go to.

I think that the reason why you don't hear much about them is because they take a back seat to the Lipglass which is really sad because these have a longer wear time but not much in the color varitey.

As far as what they are : They are more like liquid lipstick than gloss. Meaning they stick to your lips in the same way that lipstick does. Only you get that great gloss shine.
While they can be worn sheer they have more "packed" color. So while most lipglasses are thin these are thicker. Not as sticky as lipglass more like lustreglass. However, the wearing power is much longer with the Lacquer's.

Lipglass is thinner and the pigment is not as packed. Laquer's feel a bit heavier on the lips. While not every laquer is "pigmented" they do have more of a thick pigment texture. It's like melting down a lipstick between your fingers and adding some thick clear gloss to it for shine. That is the best way I can describe it.

I don't know which Canadian website you are referring to (maybe f18?), but I'm pretty sure I know who you're referring to and I can assure you she is a reliable seller.

I find that my Lacquer (Veneer) isn't really so much lipstick-like as it is LESS sticky and LESS thick than Lipglasses. There's high color payoff but feels a lot sheerer than normal lipglosses.

Here's a pic of Sheena, and some of the other lacquers. I really love them. Babied (not in pic) is a very soft, pastel pink.
