Anyone know if Mattenes may come back

and be perm with some additional colors like the Slimshines did? I could seriously LOVE the Mattenes if they'd include some softer/more muted shades....I watched Gone With the Wind on TV last night and damn do I want Scarlett O'Hara's lip color in a Mattene!!! It was a soft pinky coral, at least on my screen.

ETA: I did a Live Chat today and to their knowledge there are no plans so far.

I sure hope so! I absolutely LOOOOVE the Mattenes. Such rich color pigmentation, smooth, not drying like many other matte lipsticks. Plus the staying power is awesome. I'd love to see these as a perm product

I wish they would! I think the mattenes are a hundred times better than the slimshines, and they brought those back. But that's all a matter of opinion. They are such wonderfully smooth, creamy, beautiful lipsticks! Hope they make a comeback.

I hope so too! I missed out on 40's Pink. =[ The color range could definitely stand to improve if they do reintroduce it.

I too loved the mattenes- they were gorgeous on. Did anyone else notice that these did tend to migrate when gloss was put on top though?

I would love for them to come back, I only got 40s pink which is amazing the staying power is fantastic!!

It's a possibility, but they aren't doing as well as the Slimshines did. There are still quite a bit available online, whereas the Slimshines sold pretty quickly.

I could be completely off base but I think a big part of that is because of the shade selection -- too many dark and really bright colors IMHO. The tamer colors are all gone.

I really hope they come back. I wrote an email when they first came out and said how I loved the texture and staying power. I guess I need to write up more begging them to bring it back. lol.

You're spot on with that assessment.

The nature of the Slimshines made them a more wearable product, as well. The Mattenes weren't for everyone. More people will reach for a sheer, glossy colour than they will a matte.

If we see the Mattenes again, I imagine it won't be until fall.

If they release the Mattene as a perm collection, my opinion is that they will change the colors and make more nude, beige and pink maybe.
I do like the persent colors but they are not easy to wear for every day though but so pigmented!
Keep us posted if you know about a possible release!

I loved mattenes. I know some of them felt a bit dry but the colors, especially rapturous and rougette, were gorgeous
