Fried scalp more like it....

haha...

Okay, so the bleaching streaks into my hair didnt work so I tried to correct it by bleaching out larger sections...THAT didnt work...

so I just bleached my whole head my now my scalp hurts and I am being ubergentle with my hair...

the problem is that the bleach still doesnt remove the blue. I had dyed over the blue with a dark brown because bleaching over the blue did almost nothing...and now two bleachings later I still have blue ends...

and yellow hair...

do you ppl think that a dark blonde would cover up the yellowness of the hair AND at least mask the blueishness of the ends? Or would the blue still show through a dark blonde...

as much of a quote-unquote "punk" that I am (not much...I like the style though) I am not about to go around with white roots and yellow hair and blue ends...hehe...it doesnt look as rockin as it sounds (and it doesnt sound rockin...so you get the idea..)

and dont tell me togo to a salon...they wont be able to do anything less damaging to my hair and you cant undo damage...and I dont have money as I am a student...so...no go...

okay...

Ok, your hair needs a break!! Make sure to use some super moisturizing conditioners & treatments right now.. the blue is going to be very very hard to get rid of because those temporary colors (like hot pink, blue, etc) aren't really dyes; they "stain" your hair shaft, making it hard to lift. and do not put a blonde hair color over the blue because you'll end up with green and/or a very ashy dirty color. It's kind of hard to figure out what to do now, but what I would recommend is to dye your overall haircolor a dark brown (so that it would cover the blue) and wait at least a month for your hair to fully recover from all the bleaching.

Thanks, I really dont wanna go back to dark brown after all this....since I am going to go to a blonde in a couple months (after giving my hair a break from this...) so i woulo prefer to stay in the lighter area...so I was thinking dark blonde because hairdyes tend to come out darker then they say (like dark brown comes out black, and light brown comes are darkish..) so then the dark blonde will end up being more of a light brown...

The blue isnt completely noticeable...its more just like yeah...stained ends...

I think I will stay away frm the ash colours though and just stick to a neutral...

I bleached (way to many times...) and dyed my hair turquoise (the picture looks green) with a kit from sally's. When I went platinum, I just bleached the turquoise out...and it came out. I used the Beyond the Zone bleach kit. It didn't kill my hair either :\.

I bought a cheap medium champagne blonde and used that....it toned down the yellow and kinda evened out the funny blonde colours that I had....but I still have blueish ends in some places...

but i can live with those until I have more money and a better conditioned scalp..hehe

I'd definitely get the bluish ends cut off at least (that is probably the most damaged part of your hair, too, so it kills two birds with one stone!) and then ask your stylist what she suggests. She may know of a product that will really help repair it.

i'm assuming that the blue was a veggie dye that your put on after pre-lightening? well, that's not going to lift. you need to cut it off. bleaching made your hair porous and adding a veggie dye (which is more of a stain) permanantly stained your hair. veggie dyes are awesome for bright, long-lasting color but a bitch to lift. they usually need to be cut out. sorry.

its not like just the ends though...

and after two bleachings in some areas the blue is completely gone...

so I am just going to wait for another couple of weeks and get my friend to put another application of bleach on just the blue parts...

If I cut them out I will have no more hair...

hehe, usually if you color and bleach your hair a lot, and by the sounds of it you do, your hair will have uneven porosity. so it is possible for the dye to stick to more areas than just the ends.

yeah...hehe

That's probably why the streaks I originally wanted didnt work. They just ended up as blonde patches where the roots were and then still dark for the rest of the length...

meh...

this is why god made deep conditioning treatments and happy conditioners...

rather than write it all out again, i'm just going to direct you to this comment i made in another thread. it explains why your roots where blonde and ends were not.

I know I know...

I just always forget when actually applying...:p

Hehe...also bleach removed natural pigments faster than it does unnatural pigments (hairdye). The heat effect of the scalp just amplifies the speed at which the bleaching works....
