i need one. i have everday minerals' apple blush, but it's really difficult for me to use so i'd prefer something pressed. i know mac makes one, but it's a pro colour and i can't get to the pro store right now. are there any drugstore brands that make an apple coloured, pinkish/autumn rose powder blush?

you could try mac mocha blush (it's a regular shade), although it may be a tad pinker than you want. it's matte, so if you want a bit of glimmer, i've been using bobbi brown's pink quartz shimmer brick and that (or a MSF) will darken it up a bit.

I haven't seen EM's apple blush, but from your description you might like Nars' Taos. I have it and really like it. You just need to use a light hand because it is very highly pigmented.

The description of the color reads "desert rose with shimmer." You can find all the shades of Nars blushes on Sephora's website.

hey shadow, are the color swatches on sephora pretty accurate to the real thing? because i know mac's swatches sometimes are not accurate.

They're pretty close.

I find that MAC's Well Dressed blush is similar enough. It's probably the blush I use most often.
