Applying at Nordstrom MAC??

Those of you who works at Nordstrom MAC..is it hard to get hired there? I had my demo this past Monday with MAC's counter manager. Then they called me back for interview with the costmetic department manager on Wednesday...how soon should I call back to find out if I am hired or if they found someone else?? any suggestions??

In my opinion, I think that Nordies MAC is easier to get hired at than "regular" mainly because you will be a Nordstrom employee...they really want to see people skills...they believe that they can teach anyone to sell! You still get all the benefits of working for MAC (training, update, gratis, discount, etc). I would give them until Monday and then call...did you send a thank you note for the interview (even an email is good...hiring managers remember those people who send thank yous...because no one ever does).

I agree, give them until about Monday or so and call them. I applied to MAC also and Norsdstrom called for an interview. I have to do an application on line and then speak with the HR people. That's odd to me, but ok. LOL

thats what i had to do. i went and talked to the counter manager, she told me to apply online and then bring her my resume. but when i applied awhile ago for a nordstrom's cosmetics job (non specified counter) they sent me a letter in the mail basically saying they had nothing for me. so i'm hoping that doesn't happen again

Awww hun, I'm sorry. We'll they know that I am applying for MAC. MAC sent my info to them. It will work out in a few months we are gonna be MAC girls, just watch. :cartwheel:
