how do i apply eyeshadow? do i dip into the color, pat it into the lid then blend? because when i dip it into the color, i blend it into my lid. am i doing it wrong?

Depends on how intense you want the color to appear...if you want a wash, just brush the color onto your lid with a fluffy brush...if you want intense color, pat the color on and blend each color with a blender brush..it also helps if you wear a shadow primer...hth!

it depends on the brushes. try to...
1.put a highlighter on the intire eye with a big sponge brush.(I
use from kryolan) i usually don;t pat it because i want the darker
colour to be intense.
2.pat a darker shade onto the lid
3.take a clean brush for blending,take some highlight and blend the
two colours together starting from the crease to the brow. or
you can use a 3d e/s instead for highlight
Now when i use pigments i always pat it on first so as not to fall down . Generally as i am getting closer to the brow i try to blend the e/s and not pat them. good luck!
