Asian MAC help needed!!!!

Okie Dokie. This is my very first posting, so HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!

I am new to MAC but just LOVE the fluidline product. I am sure other MAC lines are just as amazing in quality. I am of Asian heritage and would love help and advices from makeup artists here for suggestions on make-up coloring and tips. Would it help for me to attach a pix of my face? Thank you so much in advance!!!!

i recommend checking out some tutorials by snowkei. she does awesome tutorials especially for asian eyes. colorwise, it's versatile, but ive found i have to be careful with pink shadows because it makes my eyes look kinda swollen. for everyday, you can't go wrong with browns like mulch or tempting e/s. other than that, just have fun with it! play around with different colors and shading.

If you go to the main page of Specktra and scroll down to the section called "Sharing Your Obsession", the link for tutorials is down there as well as fotds and other goodies.

Or you can go to the search link on the navigation bar & type in "snowkei" or whatever you're looking for. i hope this helps!

Ha, definitely checkout Snowkei for inspirations!

Purple/violet/lilac are OUR colors, depends on whether you prefer natural and pretty or dramatic and sexy, so not going to rec'd a specific shade.

Curl lashes and use mascara.

For bronzers, choose ones with golden undertones, rather than copper/orange tones.

If you do a search in the tutorial section for "asian" you get quite a number of threads. The ones I found most helpful (other than snowkei) are those by professionaltart, theleopardcake, pei, godzillaxahhhhhh and sassy*girl. theleopardcake has the most natural looks, so you may want to start with hers. pei's are colourful yet simple, so maybe start with hers for colour. If those are your eyes in th avatar, I would say they're most like pei's.
