Avalon

I woke up this morning with the song "Avalon" by Michelle Malone playing in my head, so I thought, "Hmmm... OOH!! Colors that look like AVALON!!" So, here's my interpretation of the mythical island.

Of course, I've been wondering if I maybe should've called this "The Mists of Avalon," instead. (Great book, by the way, if you've never read it!)

e/s - Whisper Blue - highlight
e/l - gel: Marcasite - upper lashline, tiny bit on lower lashline
brows - Maybelline: Expert Eyes pencil in Blonde and Great Lash mascara in Clear
mascara - Clinique High Impact: Black

LIPS:
l/g - E.L.F. Moisture-Care: Pink Lemonade (not sure which version - but I didn't notice until I put it on at work with a handheld mirror that it looks like Fusion in lip gloss format! Pink with gold fleckies in it! I should've taken a pic.)

Loving the cheek and lip colour combo. They're beautiful together. The eyes I'm still not sure about, but I'm sick with a fever of 102F so you can blame that

Thanks so much, y'all!! I really liked this look today. I could've chosen a better highlight color, but I wasn't displeased with it.

Woo, this is so pretty. Kind of sheer, but with enough colour to make it 'oomph'. I likes it. When I saw Avalon I thought it would be either red for apples or a smoky eye, for obvious reasons. This is a nice compromise, Day Dreamer is soo pretty. PS: I love that book. I just finished reading it for about the twelfth time about a month ago. MZB = Love.

Thank you! That's what I was going for - which is why I probably should've called it Mists of Avalon instead of just Avalon, but... oh well! I loved that book. I've only read it once, though, and never another MZB book, believe it or not! *gasp*
