Baby shower makeup?

I'm going to my friend's baby shower in a few days, but I'm clueless on what makeup to wear. I normally wear a black cat eye/winged liner with either NARS Schiap or MAC Russian Red. I think that might be a bit too dramatic for a daytime baby shower, so I could definitely use some recommendations.

I want something noticeable and pretty, but where you see *me* and not just my lipstick or eye makeup. Any help would be appreciated!

Soft pastel colors maybe? That'd be cute and definitely appropriate for a baby shower

I would go for a "natural glamour" look, like amber lights e/s lightly smoked in the courners maybe antiqued e/s, with a natural lined rosy lip. That way your glamourous but u still look natural and not out of place. Good Luck

I like the idea of a thicker cat-like eyeliner and I think that look can work for a baby shower. Instead of a red lip try a really neutral/nude lip and maybe a slightly brighter color on the cheeks.
