You might think I'm stupid or something but I don't know how to use an ATM machine. I just open an account with Bank of America. This is my first ever account. For those who are BofA customers, can you tell me step by step on how to use their ATM machine if I want to withdraw some money. thanks.

In a normal ATM machine you just insert your card, wait till it asks you to put your password/pincode in then you might be asked how much you want to withdraw, you type the number or a selection will come up and you press on the button by the amount of money you want to withdraw.
After that it will ask if you want an advice slip which shows how much you withdrawed and how much you've got left.

Hope this helps.

Pretty much all ATM machines work the same...Although I am a BofA customer

Put your card in
Pin #
Select Withdrawal Option
Withdrawal From : Saving 0r Checking Account
Amount you want to withdraw

If done...Return Card
If Not...More Options

Basically if you have used one ATM you can use any of them...They pretty much prompt you thru every option.

Most ATMs have clear instructions on them. First you need to insert your card (there is a picture so you know which side up and which side the black magnetic strip on the back should be on). From there just follow the directions on the screen. Next you will be entering the 4-digit pin number that you chose when you acquired your card (some card you need to call a 1-800# to activate it when you first get it). There will be choices on the screen and you just need to press the corresponding button. Some ATMs you can only withdraw in $20 intervals ($20, $40, $60, etc.) and there is usually a limit to how much to can withdraw each day. You can also use ATMs to check your balance, and even deposit money. Hope that helps! If you have any questions the tellers in the bank will be happy to help you

Haha don't feel bad, when I first got a card I was clueless! I made my friends supervise and guide me the entire way through for months! Good luck!

Good idea! If you withdrawal from other ATMs that aren't bofa, I think there's a fee ... been there, done that! BOFA rocks! Good luck!
