If I get this job at a yogurt shop, I need to open a bank account. What bank is good and won't charge to cash a check?

Most banks dont charge you to cash a check IF you have an account with them. It is the NON account holders that get charged a fee.

No bank should charge you to cash a check, as long as you have an account.

I would consider a credit union in this day and age. It's amazing how fast banks are getting bought out.

I agree with a lot of the people above. A credit union is a good option. I also really like Bank of America.
