Basis skin care

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope your 2010 exceeds 2009 in all things!! I'm hoping for a better year all around!

Anyway, does anyone here use Basis prodcuts? I used the Sensitive Skin bar for YEARS up YEARS from high school up until about a year ago when I started feeling like it wasn't working as well for me and it wasn't getting all the m/u off b/c I'd still have residue. Recently I've been having more and more issues again with my skin and made a trip to the dermatologist. I told her what I had been using and what I've used in the past and she suggested using the Basis Cleansing Gel. Does anyone know if this is d/c'd or not? I KNOW I've seen it at places before but never got it b/c I always used the SS bar but now that I want to start using it, I can't find it anywhere. I also found some Basis cleansing cloths that I was super excited about b/c I never can find those either and happened across them at Ulta over the weekend. I snatched them up b/c they are the ONLY cleansing cloths I can use that don't screw my skin up. I also saw at Ulta that they had a Basis vitamin bar and an antibacterial bar which I had never seen before. I went to 4 drugstores and Target today looking for that cleansing gel and couldn't find it. Does anyone have any info on this brand? There's no website I could find.

I used to use the Basis Cleaner Clean cleansing gel (in the green tube) but have not been able to find it in ages. I also liked the All Sensitive bar soap but that has become difficult to find as well.

I did a bit of searching and came up with some links:

Drugstore.com has a Basis store, which appears to have all the soaps and the gel cleanser: Natural Cleansing for Healthy, Calm Skin by Basis

Natural Cleansing for Healthy, Calm Skin by Basis - This is a comparison of products they note are equivalent to those in the Basis line - I've never tried any of these items but thought it might be a helpful reference for you or someone else looking for Basis products.

I actually was able to find quite the goldmine at Ulta last time I was there. I found the Sensitive Skin bar, the Vitamin bar and the Antibacterial bar. I also found the Basis facial cleansing cloths which the one time I did find them in the past I loved b/c they are the only ones like that that don't make my face break out in red, itchy bumps. I stocked up on what I found and got the sensitive skin bar since it seemed the safest bet but I'm thinking once the hot weather starts I'll need something a touch stronger.
