Hi!
This is my very first post. I'm sorry not to have a photo -- I will upload one at my first opportunity.
I want MUFE Face & Body Liquid Makeup. I once bought shade 2 -- which I think was called Ivory then (?) -- but, even though my mother loved it on me, I could see in my makeup mirror that it was a little bit too dark for me (my mother has medium-Caucasian-olive skin and has always thought that my doughy-white skin "could use a little color").
I am very confused about the shades. Please do not recommend that I go to a Sephora and try them; I am a graduate student with no car. Although this is a MAC-based site, I never found a MAC foundation that truly matched me. I match LORAC's palest shades, the discontinued Oil-Free Liquid Makeup in S1 and Natural Performance in NP1, the one I currently wear. The all-time best color match for me was Christian Dior's Diorlight in #100, but they discontinued it and replaced it with PureLight, and the #100 shade is too dark. I also have worn Bobbi Brown's foundations in Porcelain and Shiseido's in I00 Very Light Ivory. Stila's Shade "a" is too dark and too yellow for me. In the summer, I wear Laura Mercier's Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 in Porcelain and it is perfect for me. But it's not summer yet and I really want the MUFE Face & Body.
My face has some ruddiness, but I think that my skintone is actually very slightly towards the yellow end (my thighs are white as a sheet but with a decidedly ivory-yellow cast).
So ... #38 Pink Porcelain? #32 Alabaster Beige? #20 Ivory? Another?
Sorry!! I am really, seriously into foundation because I hate my skin.
Thank you!
