Click on "User CP". It's written in white letters and above the words -
"Welcome Forum" -. This is on the left upper part of the screen.
Once you click on "User CP", you will see a menu to the left side of the screen (Control Panel) and on the right side there will be threads lists (New Subscribed Threads).
New Subscribed Threads
The thread list is similar to a subscription to a magazine. They are the ones that you have viewed and responded. Under each of these bold titled threads, there will be the words- "reply/unsubscribe". This allows you to follow the thread, reply, or unsubscribe from it.
Under the list of threads, you will find the box titled, "Latest Reputation Received". This box will show the name of a thread with the screen name of a poster that thanked you.
Control Panel
On the menu to the left, you will see "Edit Profile".
Click on it and scroll down to the Instant Message Box. There you can enter the Yahoo! Messenger handler. There are several other boxes with choices provided to meet your specific needs.
In the "Edit Options" section. Have a check mark in the boxes marked "Enable Private Messages" and "Receive e-mail notifications of Private Messages".
This will allow you to get a pop up of a new private message from another poster and it will send the private message (PM) to your personal e-mail account.
