I had a similar thing (different brand) and the only way I could apply it without it leaving big red circles was to mix it with moisturizer first and then apply it.

I used to put some on a cotton ball and then rub onto my cheeks. It gave me I just came from outta the snow look (although people in Florida never "just come in from outta the snow

)

No, as it's an immediate stain, not something that takes a while to set. Just use clean fingers on your cheeks.

Also, Benetint is very strong - if you want to get into liquid stains but need some training wheels first, the Body Shop makes a liquid cheek/lip stain that is a lot more sheer than benetint.

I LOVE Benetint!! To apply just read the directions that come with the bottle: Apply 3 dots going upward on your cheek and blend in very quickly.

I want to check this out! I was afraid of stains, so sheer sounds like a good place to start. Thanks!
