I got my first Besame order yesterday, so here are some thoughts and pictures.
I'm making the pictures clickable links because some are too large for the board layout. I didn't want to resize them too much so that you could see better!
Customer Service
The good: They forgot to include the free lipgloss offer for being a first time customer (type in First Time Customer in the comments field at check out, don't know how long it's valid), but said they'd send it asap after I emailed them about it. The CS replies quickly and is friendly.
The bad: They will substitute the samples requested without a warning and without indicating that they're out of stock on the site. This would totally not be a big deal to me if it wasn't for the fact that it's the only way to try what I want to buy with my next order.
Packaging
Very cute! Came in a box filled with cream colored funfetti type stuff (the cat had a blast) and a little shopping bag with a crysanthemum print wrapping sheet.

The items themselves are gorgeous, of course.

Red Berry lip glaze
This should have been called Tomato! lol. There's absolutely nothing "berry" about it. I was a little scared when I pulled the tube out (I'm a little color phobic, I'll admit it) because it looks like a fluorescent orange red. Very bright. However, it applies thinly and sheerly. Even I think this is very wearable. And surprisingly, it's not as warm as it appears in the tube because it looks good on me and I'm very cool toned. It even seems to make the teeth a bit brighter, which is always a plus. The consistency is like a thin and slick gel. It stayed on longer than expected and felt good on the lips. I've only worn it once so far, but my impression is that it's moisturizing (or at least not drying).

Dusty Rose lipstick
This is like a deeper mauve, probably their most "natural" cool toned lipstick. It was hard to capture the true color of it, but it's very close to how it looks in the swatch picture. It's tiny, but pigmented. I'm also including a size comparison picture with a quarter (for non-US members, you can see the size of the lipstick bullet in the 2nd Packaging picture above, as compared to the normal-sized lipgloss).

The Samples
The lipstick samples are generous and good for several uses due to the high pigment. I haven't used the blush and eyeshadow yet, but it seems like there's a few uses there too. The powder foundation sample was tiny though and might cover maybe half of my face. Overall, I'm happy with the samples. Only wish they still allowed people to buy them separately from a full-size item order because this isn't a brand most of us can see in person before commiting to buying something.
Here's a pic of the Sweet Pink and Raspberry rouges, Plum Dandy eyeshadow, and Cherry Red lipstick.

I haven't used these yet, but I did swatch Plum Dandy and it's kind of a gilded/bronzed reddish-brown-plum type color. Too warm for me personally. I had tried Cherry Red before and that's a cool toned berry red with definite blue undertones. Sweet Pink looks like a warm-ish dusty pink in the pot. Both of the rouges are matte.
Edit: I just tried Cherry Red again, and now I remember why I didn't like it the last time. It totally turns fuschia on me. Which doesn't suit me at all, I look like a Lithuanian prostitute. lol.
