Best base for Black shadows?

At the moment I am using UDPP with MAC 'Bare Study' paintpot on top of it as a base for my eyeshadows...which works like a dream. EXCEPT with dark colours (blacks/greys/navys.)

So here is the question. Sharkskin shadestick? Blackground Paint Pot? or something else?

I use Blacktrack fluidline over UDPP. That way I have a multi-use product eyeliner and color base. Also watch for the CCBs that'll come out with Style Black. I hear those crease though.

I love blackground paint pot for dark shadows, its also great for duochrome e/s as well! I have also heard great things about the black NYX Jumbo Pencil!

NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean

Once my Blackground ran out I stocked up on the jumbo pencils. I'm doing a smokey or blue look I use Delft. I think its dark enough to give black eyeshadows that oomph

on top of these suggestions.. I've seen Josh/Petrilude on YT use Kryolan's black cream base too. It seems to be a really nice base too!

i use blacktrack fluidline. sometimes it's frustrating because it doesn't smudge as well but i keep going back to it because it gives me the blackest eyes. i can't wait for the style black either!!!

I use Stila Black Smudge Pot ATM as black base/liner, is the 24K much better than the regular black?

When I am making a black smokey eye I use the black gel liner from Clinique as a lid base.

If I wants a base with no colour i use my Make Up Factory or ArtDeco eye shadow base.

Coastal Scents black gel liner. It makes for a really intense black base (although not as great of a liner for some reason).
