Best brush for highlighting brows... recs pleaaaasee

whats a good brush to use for highlighting under your brows.. i can never get that right!

and if im doing a grey/black smokey eye, should i highlight with something matte?? something just isnt looking right when i try to do it i thought maybe id try something matte instead.

I never do matte for a highlight. When I think ''highlight'' I think frosty and sparkley! For Grey/Black you could do a pretty gold frosty highlight to warm it up or a white. Even a neutral like All that Glitters would be pretty! Or go for a very pale silver frost.

I adore a matte highlight, especially if you're using shimmer on the lid. I'm pale and my favourite is Blanc Type. It is well pigmented, smooth and blends beautifully! For a brush, I use the MAC 227 on my brow bone.

I have the 227 and have tried that but its too big for me it seems, hmm maybe im just doing somehting wrong

i use the 224 for my highlights

i used to use the 239 but i found that blending brushes apply highlights much better than application brushes ..

For brushes there are just SO many you could use. The same theory for lid makeup applies for the highlight - if you want it very pigmented and apparent, definitely use a flatter, stiffer brush like a 239 or 242. If you want just a wash, 217 and 224 are great. I really love the 227 just because it's quick and easy.

Matte highlights are great, especially when you're doing a shimmery look on the lid. It's always nice to switch up the textures.
