OK I just bought my first mineral makeup(everyday minerals) I'm not real impressed with the kabuki I bought...it sheds. What is the best kabuki out there that won't break the bank?? Thanks, Vicki

Not quite a kabuki, but the Alima #25 foundation brush is AMAZING for MMU application. Best way to describe it is like a dense kabuki with a handle. It makes buffing in the MMU extremely easy!

It's $25 and frequently out of stock, but you can email them and be put on the waiting list.

I really love my Handy Buki from BE and the 182 from MAC is supposed to be outstanding though may be more than you're willing to spend. Best of luck!

The MAC 182 is definitely the best kabuki brush I've used, but I think my second favorite is my pink kabuki I got from M*A*D Minerals! Definitely a good brush for the price. It's nice and soft but still has pretty dense bristles toward the inside, so it buffs well. I've said lately that if I could give up my 182 for about a week, I would use the pink one all the time just to really give a good review. I might do it, anyway! My 182 has been shedding a lot more than I feel like it should.

That could be due to factors other than the brush, though.

Sephora Bronzer Brush. It's dense and non shedding and its the exact brush as NARS, except its 25 USD instead of twice that much. It is a best seller for applying Bare Minerals. Sephora also makes a really luscious buffing brush that is 35 USD and feels so soft.
