What's your skin type? I have combo. skin, NC25 and C2
-I also have the
select sheer press powder, which is nice but not too great for oil control, I find that as the day goes by my face gets really shiny and I need to blot, oxidizes throughout the day a little too.
-I really love the
cleanse off oil from MAC, it's my HG makeup remover. It smells GREAT, gets everything off and doesn't leave any after feeling. It doesn't make your face oily at all either.
-MAC Fix+ is a really popular item, I remember it used to be only $15 two years ago and now it's $18!
You can use it to set your makeup or just to spray on your face for that nice cool feeling, it can be used as a toner too. It's main function from what a MUA told me is hydration. It's more you have do with this product too.
-The
Volcanic Ash Exfoliator is great! Leaves your face feeling oh so soft n smooth, and it makes my face glow/radiant/brighten, plus feels your face feeling clean.
-I haven't tried any of their foundations except for the studio fix in the compact. It feels okay to me, but the color match on me was spot on. Perfect, it didn't even look like I had it on me. The MUA matched me to C2, depending on what tool you use to apply this on you can get either a medium to full coverage.
-Mineralized SKin finish naturals are really nice, leaves a smooth and soft finish, not too great w/ oil control, has vitamins and natural essentials so it's better for your skin compared to the other mac powders. I found that this oxidized on me, plus the closest color that matched me (medium) was too pink and the medium light was too light on me. This can give you a light to medium coverage depending on the tool/brush you use, from seeing others online pic.s, many use this as a setting press powder too.
-Strobe Cream can be used as a subtle highlighter, many like to mix this w/ their foundation to give their face that nice subtle glow or lighten up the foundation. You can also use this on your coller (sp?) bone, and shoulders to make your skin look radiant and healthy.
Their so many face products that everyone loves, if you have a MAC store or stand you should go and play with some of the products to see what you like better. The MUA usually are more than happy to help and share with you what they love using
