best shadow? / must haves??

heyy yall

im really new to mac and wondering where is the best place to start...must have basics etc?? i currently own c-thru lipglass & select cover up. impressive? i know

also can anyone recommend a bronze shadow ideal for picking out aqua-blue eyes??

I really like Shroom, Juxt, and Mulch.

I don't own it, but I like Amber Lights would be nice for blue eyes.

For eyeshadow:
basics (for neutrals) i'd say:
- mulch, sumptuous olive, romp, and honesty.
for highlights:
- shroom, retrospeck, nylon

i, too, agree about amber lights being gorgeous for blue eyes

aqua blue eyes.. you would look great with retrospect, mulch , and tempting. im serious..those three colors would look wonderful on you :]

carbon (matte black)
white frost (low level white frost)
freshwater (gorgeous azure blue)
sushi flower (vibrant, shimmery pink)
humid (mid-level emerald green)
goldmine (basic, shimmery gold)
satellite dreams (deep, amethyst purple)
stars n rockets (duochrome bright fuschia/purple)
shroom (basic, neutral beige)
mulch (rich, chocolate brown frost)

are some of my favorites. if you can, go to a counter and play with some colors, find out what works for you. some other things i'd recommend are blacktrack liner, because it is SO versatile, a mineralize skinfinish if you can find any anywhere, and maybe a blush or two. slowly, start with some basic, blendable colors, and start building your collection piece by piece.
