Black and white...but what about the face?

I'm doing my best friend's boyfriend's sister's (lol) makeup for her highschool's dance. She's wearing a black dress, shoes, with white accessories. But I have no idea what to do! She never ever wears makeup and never really has before and doesn't want a bold look or heavy stuff, so I want to do lighter shades and sheer applications. Any advice? Specifically, colors for eyes, lips, and cheeks. Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!

What came to my mind instantly for black and white is a classic Audrey-Hepburn-Look: peachy-nude colors for lips and cheeks, and a lighthanded version of smokey eyes.

2nd above- maybe use a bronze smokey eye so its more neutral and wont make her uneasy
