Which one you guys like better? easier to use Carbon or Black Tied? I want one of those.

I like Black Tied because I like shimmer shadows better than matte ones.

Black Tied, but i prefer shimmer/glitter to matte most of the time.

my favorite black shadow of all time that IS matte, tho, is CARGO's Qatar. it's awesome and huge and BLACK

I personally have both and dont notice a difference. I dont get the sparkle in black tied to show up at all. But it looks beautiful in the pot.

i dont use black shadow tooooo often, so i just use Milani Storm, which is a dupe for Black Tied. cheapo, decently pigmented, and does the job.

as for the matte vs the glitter question .... with black tied you can put in the effort to make the glitter stay on/stop fall out, or just slap it on and not all that much glitter stays on where you can tell much of a difference. on the flip side with the matte carbon, you can put it on by itself, and if you are craving some shimmer or glitter, just lightly go over it with something sheer with shimmer.

I like black tied, but I can recommend you also dark soul pigment, if you prefer using loose powders.

I personally like Carbon, but they are both great for different reasons. You can't go wrong when it comes to either of those.

Thank you for the help! I end up getting Black Tied, since Carbon I don't know it looks a little harsh on me.. but yeah, I'm happy with my choice!

I prefer Carbon over Black Tied for everyday use. I have both tho' as well as Dark Soul pigment.

I love love love Carbon. I use it a lot for liner and also adding it in the crease for drama. It makes a hot smudge look with the 219 brush
