Black, smoky eyes

Whenever I try to do pure black smoky eyes I always get run off.

Like ten minutes later there's specs of e/s on my cheeks.
I've been using Blacktrack f/l, Chanel Noir Essentials, and Carbon e/s with either Luna CCB or Bare Canvas p/t as base.

Any suggestions on how to get a pure black e/s look w/o runoff? Would Groundwork paint pot work? (is it black enough?)

Hmmm...that is a good question. When you apply the Carbon are you just patting it on or are you blending or buffing the color in. I ask because you are prone to have more fallout if the color isn't blended well into the skin.

black is a tricky shadow colour to wear, you definately have to make sure you blend/buff it in. if you're using blacktrack, you really don't need to use much shadow since the pitch black base is already there.
