Shitty parceline.

I just got a phonecall from MAC to say the Zandra Rhodes palette I ordered has been returned to them.

'Apparently' Parceline attempted delivery on the 11th and 12th of October. I only received one yellow card from the attempted delivery on the 11th certainly nothing for the 12th. I called to have the item redelivered for the 16th (which never came) and again for the 19th (today) both times confirmed that delivery would take place.

Obviously wont get it today if MAC have the fucking item. I am furious.

One hell of a complaint is now going in. Parceline are completely inflexible and shitty, unless you want to start paying premium rates to get it delivered on a saturday (despite already paying for postage) because they only operate in office hours and will not leave a parcel at another address unless you have given notice 2 weeks prior!!!!!!!!

gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

How annoying.. I really don't understand why delivery companies don't operate evenings and weekends..

Good luck complaining..

They are utterly terrible, we ordered a replacement kitchen door from Ikea on August 20th, and it was delivered Tuesday just gone, despite parceline having picked it up from their warehouse on the 28th August.

I actually work from home, and I am in all day, every day. Not only did they not attempt delivery, but I got no cards, and it took me 4 calls to Ikea to get the parceline number to find out what the hell was going on. When we managed to get through to their CS dept after 40 minutes of holding, the staff were incredibly rude and basically called me a liar, claiming to have attempted delivery 3 times. Now, I live in an apartment building, and to speak to me you have to buzz the intercom on the ground floor entrance, which is like a air-raid siren when it goes off in my flat, there is no way I could ignore it, even if I wanted to. I reckon the driver saw the address, worked out that we live on the 4th floor and decided he couldn't be arsed to carry the door all that way, and faked an attempted delivery.

I've never ordered from the MAC site, my local counter is usually well stocked, but I'll think twice about ever doing it now I know which company they use.

MAC delivers my stuff via Parceline and when I'm not in, I leave a note asking them to hide it in the boots in the porch or hand it to my neighbour for safekeeping. hasnt been a problem so far. why dont you try that?

Thats what I do. I always track the parcel so I know what day its coming. Then leave a note out for him on the day to tell him to leave it, and sign it.
Or the other thing I do, if they have been and left a card thing, saying the usual "we called today and werent in" I go on there website to make a redelivery, and on there website you can tell them where to leave it.
