The pressed Blot powder in Light is practically white it's so pale. So Medium is fine for me, NW20. Give Medium a try!

anyone know if this is at all similar to the Pro Set powders (which come in invisible and tint corrector colours but as of yet, not skintones...)

I so want to try it. The pressed version, despite claiming not to add color or texture, cakes up on me. And I'm not even very oily!

So, once I run out of Select Sheer Loose powder, I'm definitely gonna buy the loose blot powder.

I'd like to know this too, what's the difference?

medium is very light, too. so you should try this shade. i'm very glad to see medium. best color/shade for me. NC25-27. maybe the loose powder is a little bit lighter than the compact, which i have. I'm happy...my normal blot powder run out (i think in 1month) and i try the loose powder. i think this loose powder will be good/fine

I adore the Blot powder, but having it in loose form isn't really practical. I keep the Blot compact in my purse for touch-ups on the go. I'm not going to start carrying loose powder in my bag o_0"

same here. i like the compact and knowing that if i dont have a brush on me i can still use it.

I use the blot powder like you. but maybe we all have one at home(loose) and one compact in our bag for touch ups, which we need(maybe)you're right

True the loose powder is def something alot of people wont even think about carrying. I love blot powder in its pressed form and think this loose version is great becuase as stated above can stay i nmthe makeup case at home. Loose products seem to go on seamlessly also beucase you can def tell how much product you load on to a brush.

I wonder how the medium compares in color to the NC5 select sheer loose powder...that is what I use now.

I bought the loose one last night. The MA said that the loose blot shades are slightly lighter in color than the pressed blot powder.

I plan on using the loose in the morning when I do my makeup and the pressed for touch-ups.

I purchased this early today.
I'd have to admit though, they only give you 11grams, which is very little compared to the other jars of loose powder I've bought before from different brands. It's a little bit more on the pricy side for the amount you get IMO.

I use loose powder everyday to set and help even out my makeup, and then I spray on a couple spritzes of MAC fix+, then I use the Blot Powder Compact throughout the day when needed. I am hoping that the new loose blot will be able to set my makeup and ALSO control my oil better so that I won't have to use the blot compact as much, but we'll see.

I bought this in medium and I'm an NC20 w/ combo skin and an oily t-zone. When applied, it is very very sheer and natural (so I think this shade will work fine for any light skinned girls), very smooth and finely milled. I don't notice any difference between the texture of this and my other loose powders, but hopefully there will be a noticable difference in how long this stuff can last. I will update when get to test this on one of my busier days or when I go to school.
