Blue Calm & Naval eyeshadows??

I haven't been keeping up with collections, but I don't recall these. They're on the website and in the backstage collection looks...where the hell did they come from and where can I get them? THEY LOOK AWESOME.

PS I didn't see either of them in the Blue Storm discussion, which I thought perhaps was where they came from, but lo, no.

These are both Pro Items. Well, I know for sure Naval is.

They were released as part of the new pro extension in July. There are some great swatches of them in the Pro Extension swatch thread.

Blue calm is like the veluxe pearl version of electric eel and it is amazing. All the new pro extention colours are so nice. The mattes are the new matte texture and blend like butter.

I love both shadows, but to me Blue Calm is nothing like Electric Eel. Blue Calm is much closer to Freshwater; more of a pure bright blue, not nearly as much green as Electric Eel.

It's nothing like freshwater on me lol. It's funny how stuff can look so different on different people. I went into MAC wearing blue calm one day and all the MA's wanted to know how I got electric eel so frosty looking

Huh! That's strange. What skintone are you? I'm pretty pale, so e/s tend to show up pretty "true" on me (that is, what I see in the pan / swatched on white paper is almost EXACTLY what I get on my skin). Maybe you have more green undertones than I or something (since, at least for me, Electric Eel has MUCH more green in it than Blue Calm).

I'm NW15, but to be fair, almost every blue I wear goes more teal on me. That's why I say it looks nothing like freshwater which actually goes blue on me. Must be something to do with undertones

I just realized that Blue Calm is actually a permanent eyeshadow on the MACCosmetics.com site. However, I think this is "online only" since the color debuted with the PRO launch.

Speaking of PRO stuff, do not be saddened by lack of product. The demand has been HUGE. The NYC Pro store only has a handful of each color left, and out of alot of them (both pots and pans). I was lucky enough to get a Blue Calm and Deep Damson (in pot form =((((). No luck with the Brown, Soot, or Naval. =(

Yeah, it's only on the Mac Cosmetics website, like a couple colors of the Lipmix and a few other pro products, because it's being sold promotionally where they're showing some of the runway looks used. I suspect it will disappear when that feature disappears.
