Blue Peep look/Bright eyeliner trick

I love bright eyeliner, but find that on its own, it can sometimes look a little, um, too bright. I think this makes it a little more wearable. You can do this with any color bright eyeliner Adding black to it does wonders...

It's not perfect...it was done in a hurry!

all MAC unless otherwise stated
EYES:
Bare Study PP on lids up to brow
Bisque e/s over brow bone
Patina e/s on lid only
Soft brown e/s in crease and slightly above

Blue Peep e/l PUT ON THICK on upper lash line and a thin line on outer bottom 1/4 blended to center

Loreal HiP black cream e/l applied super close to lash line, following exact shape letting some of the Blue Peep, um, peep out...GET IT? peep???

I know what you mean when you say that the bright liners by themselves are a bit to much, I love how the black totally toned it down. Thanks for the tip.

Do you put the colored liner straight over the black? Or do you not layer it and put it right above?? B/c I tried that once--putting the black on first, then putting the blue peep slightly above it (not layering) and the places where the blue touched the black, you could see the black through it
